Magazine State Park, Paris, AR Closing date: 01/10/2025 This position is a first-line greeter in a 125-seat restaurant with adjacent 40-seat dining area. As a working supervisor, this position manages the restaurant floor, greets, and seats guests, explains menu items, assists with resolving complaints, prepares work schedules, provides counseling and disciplines employees. Other job duties include training and supervising front of the house employees, handling monetary transactions, ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant, and performing other duties as assigned. Required to work weekends and holidays with a varied work schedule. Must have excellent public relations skills, a valid driver’s license, and be 21 years of age or older, as this position is required to serve alcohol. A criminal background check will be performed. Position Information Class Code: T085C Grade: GS03 FLSA Status: NON-EXEMPT Salary Range: $32,405.00 - $51,686.00 Summary The Facility Manager I is responsible for managing the operation of a revenue-producing facility such as general store, marina, or similar facility. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Functions Inventories, orders, and receives supplies for the facility and maintains inventory control records. Prepares and completes business activity reports and balances cash receipts daily. Maintains business records, files, and books. Coordinates facility activities with other departments and the general public. Supervises and directs the activities of full and part-time employees and plans work schedule. Greets customers, explains services and prices, and makes special arrangements for customers upon request. Provides information and assistance to customers including collecting money and making change. Operates and maintains facility equipment, performs basic maintenance on facility, and arranges for major maintenance and repairs. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to assign and coordinate work activities and to monitor the performance of co-workers and/or subordinates. Ability to prepare reports and maintain records and files. Ability to greet customers, make sales, and balance cash receipts. Ability to clean and maintain work area and equipment. Minimum Qualifications The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus three years of experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
