Job Description

We are looking for a Facility Manager who is responsible for the successful execution of Infrastructure development project for India Footprint Strategy of Danfoss.You will also be responsible to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Job Responsibilities Responsible for the successful execution of India Footprint Project with end-to-end ownership for MEP and utilities.  Review blueprints and plans for the installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems and components. Manage and oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations on site. Coordinate with design professionals and construction team to ensure project compliance. Monitor and manage project budgets and schedules. Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards Conduct quality control for MEP systems. Implement safety measures and guidelines for personnel. Ensure all installations adhere to contractual provisions and quality control standards. Testing and commissioning MEP systems to ensure they are functional and efficient Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project lifecycle Prepare and present technical reports and data on the MEP systems Keeping updated with industry standards and best practices in MEP engineering Control efforts and expenditures within constraints of project budget. Implement Energy efficient solutions across operations and benchmark with applicable Standards. Annual Budget Planning and Control (Capex/Opex) for Project & Facility Management Background & Skills Engineering Graduate/ Postgraduate with 10-15 years of rich experience in MEP Designing, Planning and project execution, Plant maintenance, Facility Management & General Administration Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (preferred). Hands on experience in driving Infrastructure projects Proven experience as an MEP Site Engineer or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other design software. Excellent communication and team management skills. Min 8-10 years of MEP Infrastructure project or plant maintenance along with facility/operations management.  Good understating about local laws, compliance, and statutory requirements.  Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team. Knowledge with Microsoft Business Software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project 2007) Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make impactful communication. Should have the ability to connect & navigate through complex matrix organization, Collaborative style of working.
