We are seeking a Facility Mechanical Engineer for assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will design and specify systems for state-of-the-art facilities and tool systems.

 

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

** This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) **

** This position is on a hybrid schedule, with 60% of the time on client site **

Responsibilities

- Design oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust and process chemicals and gasses for extensive tools

- Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection and specification

- Provide support during construction and integration into the factory

- Work directly with design staff, client equipment owners, researchers and equipment manufacturers of next generation and prototype tools

- Build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages

- Provide technical training, quality check designs and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process

- PE stamping responsibility for the designs may be required

- Interact directly with clients and contractors to assist with construction on site

- Perform field walks

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- 10+ years experience with HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing and related mechanical facilities systems

- 4+ years experience leading engineering design teams

- A Professional Engineer License (PE)

- AutoCAD and Navisworks experience is a plus
