Facility Operations Manager

**Clean Harbors** located in **Baltimore, MD** is looking for a **Facility** **Operations Manager** to join their safety conscious team. The **Facility** **Operations Manager** is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the facility. The successful candidate will have industry experience and logistics experience combined with a strong administrative skill set. This position will focus on supervision of incoming/outbound waste and coordination departments responsible for completing tasks associated with waste disposal.
**Schedule:** 1 st Shift and other hours outside of this as needed by business
**Pay:** $90K+ DOE; in addition, this position qualifies for an annual bonus of up to 15%.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
+ Emphasize productivity, health & safety, compliance and customer satisfaction;
+ Overseeing inbound/outbound loads and operations of waste at the plant;
+ Ensure that each project has an operating plan and that personnel follow it;
+ Overseeing inventory and supplies that are needed in the facility;
+ Assisting with budget planning and monitoring;
+ Onsite supervision, training and mentoring of new hires; current staff; and will also provide input to General Manager regarding performance evaluations for individuals to whom this position has direct supervision over;
+ Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required (Degree in environmental studies preferred);
+ 3+ years’ experience in chemical operations preferred;
+ Supervisory or management experience in chemical operations preferred;
+ P&L/Budget experience preferred;
+ Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations;
+ OSHA Training and experience.
