Summary You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Facilities Management Division, Public Works Department Newport of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will update PWD Management on facility condition issues and work efforts being accomplished for PWD facilities. You will coordinate with tenant command(s) on processes and policies for requesting and funding work. You will investigate and recommend action on situations in controversy with contractors, which either has or is expected to lead to formal claims and disputes by contractors. You will ensure work is submitted in accordance with NAVFAC MIDLANT policies and procedures. You will input Purchase Requests for services for all emergent work and requirements as necessary Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing software programs database systems (i.e. Maximo, iNFADS, eProjects, Financial Reporting, and tracking programs); 2) Generating reports and assisting developing metrics for facilities management; 3) Assisting with developing Maintenance Execution plans, Maintenance Action plans, and Long Range Maintenance plans for facilities; 4) Applying principles, concepts, and methods of facility administration.
