Responsibilities

As a Facility Operations Technician at Hines, you will provide facility services to support safe, efficient, high-quality operations for all employees and guests of the facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Building Operations

Daily opening of FacilityReceipt of deliveriesVendor escort (AOA compliance)Guest/Passenger supportParking gate monitoringDaily operations and monitoring of HVAC system

Energy Management Systems and Resources

Data collection and reporting

Fire/Life Safety Protection and Alarm Systems

Coordination of required alarm system testing/inspectionFire extinguisher & AED program management and reportingAED program management and reporting

Risk Management/EHS

Safety Program compliance and reportingSDS Program administrationLadder Inspection ProgramEye-wash station managementEmergency Response PlanningEvacuation / Shelter Drill coordinationArc Flash and Electrical Safety SupportConfined Space ManagementPower/Hand Tool/Machine Guarding SupportEnvironmentalSpill Response SupportHazardous & Universal Waste SupportRefrigerant Management Reporting

Partnered with the Facility Management, Engineering, and vendors, provide hands-on oversight of service providers and associated requirements for:

Landscape/Snow Removal/Parking Lot & WalkwaysPest ControlHVAC/Plumbing/Electrical MaintenanceFitness Area EquipmentFuel Storage Tank MaintenanceMiscellaneous Project Management as assigned

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution requiredAssociate's degree preferredThree or more years’ experience as a Building Engineer or equivalent facilities technical trade

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must be able to pass all requirements for Air Operations Area (AOA) badge clearance including training, testing, and background checks. Maintaining AOA clearance is a condition of employment
