Plant Manager

STGi is seeking qualified candidates for this position in connection with an active Request for Proposals (RFP).   Hiring for this role is contingent upon STGi’s selection as the successful awardee.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

·                        Assist in the development of a facility-based and community-based hazards vulnerability assessment as part of emergency preparedness planning.   

·                        Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings; review findings with the Administrator and the Risk Manager.   

·                        Participate in the annual facility assessment to ensure the available resources meet the needs of the resident population.   

·                        Ensure the safe and proper functioning of the environment and equipment that are necessary to care for the resident population in the facility.   

·                        Evaluate and document facility maintenance and equipment needs.   

·                        Provide facility access to state/federal inspectors and contractors as directed.   

·                        Evaluate work areas, examine tools and equipment and provide safety training to team members to prevent, detect and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and regulations.   

·                        Inspect, test and measure completed work to verify compliance with state/federal requirements and/or facility standards.   

·                        Provide daily supervision to the maintenance department; ensure the efficient and effective operational maintenance of the buildings and grounds through planning, scheduling and supervision of tasks.
