BGIS is looking for a Facility Program Manager to join the team in South Jordan, UT.

The Facility Program Manager (White Space Engineering) supports client operations with the day-to-day coordination and implementations of activities pertaining to the oversight of white space deployment and engineering. The Facility Program Manager will be the primary individual to interface with the client’s Data Center Managers as it pertains to white space projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Design and Installation
Design and install infrastructure to support the client’s data center operations, including containment systems, communications cabling, power distribution, and cable pathways. Coordinate with various teams, including Network Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Data Center Planning, and Data Center Operations, on the design, engineering, and installation of client deployments.Vendor and Project Management
Create and maintain project plans and relevant design documents. Manage multiple vendors and installers, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. Oversee installation activities and materials procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution. Manage a yearly budget, forecasting scopes of work and estimated spend.Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and resolve fiber issues related to data transmission, network connectivity, and system performance. Problem solve to bring resolution to white space deployment related issues.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system changes, maintenance activities, and migrations.Client Relations and Communication
Document, manage and appropriately escalate project and client issues and concerns. Evaluate industry trends as new standards emerge for best practices, and closely coordinate these potential opportunities with our client and share all applicable information. Explain technical information in a clear manner internally to team members and externally to the client. Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or equivalent field of study or work experience. Highly preferred certifications: BICSI RCDD and CNet CDCDP, or equivalent. Experience working in data center environments. Working knowledge and understanding of data center operations, data center electrical, and data center mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of fiber optic testing and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Fluke and/or EXFO testing equipment. Ability to read and comprehend CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Self-driven and high proficiency of time management.Physical Demands and Work Environment
Current valid driver’s license and ability to provide personal transportation. Physical ability to walk jobsites. Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday. Ability and willingness to work after hours, weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and being available 24x7x365.
