Facility Security Officer

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will provide onsite support for all security actions and serve as the liaison with US Government counterparts, conduct security briefings and debriefings, monitor classified controlled areas, support site classified visits, off-site SCI meetings, prepare and review documentation, to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Certification and Accreditations (C&A) package, receive and prepare DD254 for subcontractors, perform periodic self-inspections and. The FSO, under the direction of the Corporate Industrial Security Manager, is responsible for maintaining Facility Security Clearances through compliance with the National Industrial Security Program and the National Information Security System (NISS). This position also supports security on-boarding, initiating eQIP requests for DoD clearances and DoS public trust positions, providing education and training in accordance with the NISPOM and contract requirements, and generating DD254 for subcontractors.

 

Conduct all aspects of personnel security including processing access control requests, initiating, reviewing, and processing of clearance actions and assisting with fingerprints, Brief all employees on their responsibilities for protecting, handling, transmitting, storing, and destroying National Security Information. Process Visit Requests to other facilities and U.S. Government organizations Investigate security violations and incidents and prepare reports as appropriate. Review Prime DD254s and generate DD Form 254s for subcontractors. Maintain security documentation and files. Provide updates to DCSA via National Industrial Security System (NISS) of any changes to company facility information. Assist the with the implementation and administration of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) daily operations, procedures and controls, to include, Document Control, Classification Management, Visitor Control, Document Control, Security Education, and Physical Security. Ensures that proper procedures are followed in accordance with the Company policy, Standard Practice Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Department of Defense (DOD) and other applicable Government regulations. When applicable, manage the accreditation cycle for all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) to include the development and implementation of physical security standards. When applicable, coordinate an Automated Information Systems (AIS) accreditation packages for processing requirements. Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, OPM e-QIP, SFWT and ACCS. Experience in processing DOD and DOS SF-85, SF-86, Periodic Reinvestigations, VARs, MRPTs, LOAs, in accordance with federal regulations and contractual requirements. Maintains employee security documentation in accordance with government and company policy and guidance. • Perform other duties as assigned
