This role is critical in integrating automation, control systems, and digital transformation solutions to enhance factory efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal IT teams, engineering, and vendors to design, implement, and sustain advanced automation solutions for a smart manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Automation System Design: Develop, implement, and maintain automated control systems to optimize factory operations. * Industry 4.0 Integration: Collaborate with internal IT teams to coordinate and advance smart manufacturing initiatives. * Digital Dashboards & Analytics: Develop real-time monitoring tools for data-driven decision-making. * Control System Development: Design detailed electrical schematics, control diagrams, and software for automation solutions. * Industrial Component Integration: Program and integrate PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other industrial control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell). * Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve automation issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of factory processes. * Documentation & Standardization: Create and maintain technical documentation, standard work procedures, and execution plans. Required Qualifications: * Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of control systems, electrical circuits, and industrial automation. * Education: Bachelors" degree in engineering. * Technical Documentation: Ability to compile and maintain standard work documentation. * Security & Compliance: U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Preferred Qualifications: * Programming Skills: Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming. * Industrial Communication: Understanding of Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and other industrial protocols. * Control System Design: Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, EPLAN) for control diagrams. * Data & Analytics Tools: Familiarity with Ignition, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and APIs. * Experience with robotics, motion control, and manufacturing process automation. * Knowledge of smart manufacturing and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications.
