Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial excellence by analyzing business performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining accurate financial records. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze financial metrics. Each day, you will identify trends and problems and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the Ormond Beach manufacturing facility.The work model for the role is onsite (#LI-Onsite) in our Ormond Beach manufacturing facility.You will be mainly accountable for:- Performing analyses of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.- Benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.- Preparing financial modelling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.- Supporting the preparation of the relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting and providing information to the management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related, -OR- combination of education and relevant experience in lieu of degree. 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst roleStrong Microsoft EXCEL skills (capability to manipulate large volume of data);Experience with SAP (Preferred)Experience in developing Power BI will be a differential.English language skill(s) and proficiency. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
