Role & Responsibilities:
Drive manufacturing partners to ensure on time delivery of products, maximize revenue shipment and meet market share commit.
Support NPI Programs (factory resources, part in-house etc).
Manage Factory capacity (production line optimizations, DL allocations etc) to meet business needs.
Drive/ support mitigation effort for business continuity.
Manage Factory E&O/ Product Roll over to minimize exposure and obsolescence.
Manage Factory Inventory for assurance of supply & mitigate liability risk.
Manage part consignment for assurance of supply and contain book to physical variances.
Drive factory responsiveness to meet demand changes and business needs; these include supporting material buffers, driving hybrid crews, rebalancing crews, etc.
Manage factory exception cost & mitigations.
Executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.
Support Process Improvement/ SC Initiatives (ABC, WW Pooling, Consignment Enabling, FDS, TER, CTO, TDD, etc.).
Qualifications:
First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modelling skills.
Strong knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications.
Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
Basic Project Management Skills.
Basic ability to develop suppliers.
Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills.
