Job OverviewThe Factory Parts Support Supervisor, Hard Rock is responsible for leading the customer service team in the development, implementation and maintenance of parts processes, sales and customer service strategies for global hard rock aftermarket business in order to ensure targeted revenue and profit are being met by the Komatsu Mining Distribution Network.
Key Job Responsibilities Develops, implements, and manages procedures for parts order to delivery. Supports CSR function with tools and resources for customer service, including scripting and training. Interacts daily with Supply Chain, Production, Warehousing, and Inventory Control departments. Main contact for part order escalation, rushes, and unit down situations. Liaison between parts distribution center and customer service representatives. Prepares parts reporting, including weekly customer back order reports. Ensures streamlined parts quotations and processes across sales regions. Acts as SAP expert, providing training and support. Prepares various parts and customer reports with direct reports. Corresponds daily with customers to provide high-level service for parts and service orders. Prepares information for inventory corrections and adjustments. Monitors and informs customers about parts issues and critical spares. Takes ownership of customer issues and ensures commitments are met. Proactively informs customers of order status changes and backlog issues. Resolves nonconformance shipping disputes in the ERP system. Leads on all drop ship orders. Regular contact with dispatch on shipping method changes. Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce or Technical Trades plus five (5) years sales experience with parts and minimum of two (2) years leadership experience
