McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking outstanding Ph.D. or M.D. clinician-researchers for Louis A. Faillace, M.D., Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences to expand our current clinical research capabilities.
**Position Key Accountabilities:**
We are recruiting individuals at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with demonstrated ability to develop independent, externally funded research programs that would complement and extend existing research efforts. Target areas for expansion include (but not limited to) clinical mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, and child and adolescent psychopathology.
**Qualifications:**
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D., MD, or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have an outstanding postdoctoral record and the potential to develop a vigorous research program. Preference will be given to those with a track record of external funding and scholarly productivity. The appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
