Faculty delivers and/or develops educational materials, teach in the lecture or skills laboratory setting, record videos and/or perform student assessment. Assigned to provide instruction in a portion of the curriculum for which indiividual has suitable training and experience.
Responsibilities• Prepare and deliver curriculum including (but not limited to) lectures or laboratory lessons on assigned topics
• Use current standards and references for educational materials in accordance with Tourocom curriculum and objectives
• Perform curriculum development and delivery in accordance with the requirements set forth by the appropriate Course Director, Chair, Vice/Associate Chair or Dean
• Participate in assessment of student performance through appropriate examination methods as assigned
• Promote an appropriate atmosphere for student education and be responsive to students’ needs
• Serve on committees, as assigned
• Advise and mentor students, as assigned
• MD or DO degree
• Strong knowledge base in specialty area(s)
• Demonstrated ability and desire to teach
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of osteopathic medicine and the university
• An active and unrestricted medical license and Board certification preferred
Maximum Salary USD $150.00/Hr. Minimum Salary USD $75.00/Hr.
