McWilliams School of Biomedical Informaticsis looking for a faculty associate in health data science and artificial intelligence to join ourCenter for Secure Artificial intelligence For hEalthcare (SAFE)department and conduct cutting-edge research in data analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, and privacy technology.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in computer science, health informatics, or a related field, as well as relevant research experience and publications in top-tier venues.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Conduct research in health data science and artificial intelligence, such as data analysis, machine learning,
natural language processing, and privacy technology.
· Design and implement research projects that address novel and challenging problems and generate high-impact results.
· Write and publish research papers in top-tier journals and conferences.
· Present research findings at national and international conferences and workshops.
· Collaborate with other researchers and faculty members and participate in research meetings and activities.
· Contribute to the advancement of the field and the department.
· Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in health data science, artificial intelligence, and privacy technology.
**APPOINTMENTS/BENEFITS:**
This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment on the non-tenure track, renewable every year.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
•PhD degree in computer science, health informatics, or a related field.
• Relevant research experience and publications in health data science and artificial intelligence.
• Strong knowledge and skills in data analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, and privacy technology.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
•Ability to collaborate with other researchers and faculty members and contribute to the department.
• Passion for research and health data science and artificial intelligence.
**SALARY:**
Competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience.
