Faculty Development Graduate Research Assistant - Wick (AY 25-26 C91360)

Under supervision of Professor David Wick, the Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) will carry out research on matters related to host community impacts of education abroad, application of intercultural learning to advance equity and justice locally and/or globally, IE rhetoric and action related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and related projects.

This position is compensated at the Level B rate on the MIIS student wage scale: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

​​Review literature and co-author a literature review on one or more of the research topics. ​Co-design research methods and pilot interview questions and/or questionnaires.  ​Facilitate outreach, scheduling, and record-keeping for interviews and other data collection. ​Conduct Zoom interviews of program education abroad participants, faculty, and staff for one or more of the projects. ​Document and write analytic memos during data collection. ​Collaborate with the research team to analyze results and prepare presentations, posters, and articles to share the results at conferences and in publications.​
