St. Jude Children's Research Hospital The Department of Structural Biology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital focuses on research that goes beyond static structures. We investigate the mechanisms by which dynamics manifest into function and perturbations result in disease, using a variety of experimental and computational approaches. Our research is supported by state-of-the-art Technology Core Centers within the department, dedicated to protein technologies, X-ray crystallography, NMR, cryo-EM/ET, single-molecule imaging, and computational structural biology. Our department is growing and we seek new faculty members who want to pursue bold and creative scientific projects in an open and collaborative environment. Applicants in all areas of biophysics and structural biology will be considered for faculty positions at the Assistant Member level or above. Applicants should hold a PhD and/or MD degree, have at least three years of relevant postgraduate experience, and a demonstrated track record of productivity.
