Reporting to, and working closely with, the Director of Academic and Faculty Affairs, CUNY SPS seeks a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Faculty Resources Manager to manage all aspects of faculty appointment, promotion, and tenure processes and optimize and maintain faculty records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates advanced skills in data tracking and documentation using platforms such as PeopleSoft, Interfolio, and Tableau. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Manages the appointment, reappointment, and promotion processes for adjunct and full-time faculty. Provides clear communication and guidance regarding timelines, requirements, and documentation. + Maintains, updates, and analyzes faculty data such as reassigned time and workload using best practices and tools such as PeopleSoft, Interfolio, and Tableau. Ensures data accuracy and resolves version control issues by centralizing records in these systems. + Monitors faculty credentials and ensures adherence to institutional and accreditation standards. Generates reports to track progress, timelines, and other key metrics. + Interprets and applies relevant institutional policies and the PSC-CUNY Collective Bargaining Agreement. Serves as a resource to the academic programs regarding best practices related to faculty affairs. + Partners with Academic Affairs, Human Resources, Payroll, and other administrative offices to streamline processes. Communicates updates and deadlines to academic programs, administration, and faculty. + Other duties as assigned by the Director of Academic and Faculty Affairs and the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. NOTE: + Until further notice, work will be performed in a hybrid manner with 70% onsite presence. + Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience required. The preferred candidate will possess: + A Master’s degree in a related field. + Demonstrated expertise in data and document management systems such as PeopleSoft, Interfolio, and Tableau. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a team setting with diverse staff of all levels and to communicate effectively with other offices such as HR, Payroll, Registrar, and the Dean's Office. + Experience working with adjunct and full-time faculty. + Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proven ability to maintain clear, consistent, and accurate records. + Knowledge of CUNY policies and systems. + Commitment to campus values of equity, diversity and inclusion. **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Manages administrative and program activities of an academic or administrative unit. - Manages administrative aspects of department operations such as admissions, recruitment, scheduling, facilities management, and events. - Serves as Office Manager, supervising and training staff, managing financial operations and budgets, and coordinating technology, equipment, security, and building maintenance requirements. - Represents management in meetings and activities related to department administration. - Maintains archives, inventories, or collections of materials or records needed by the department. - Works with fund-raising, marketing, technology, and other personnel to provide information and participate in Campus or University-wide initiatives. - Collect information for, produce, and distribute department reports covering program, fiscal, and human resources issues - Independently carries out unit activities such as approvals, student interactions, and participation in campus- or university-wide committees and projects.
