The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Professor, tenure. This is an excellent opportunity for an established faculty member to join a well-established OB/GYN Department with a leading research institute (MWRI) and subspecialties, including maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, medical genetics, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, infectious diseases, and family planning.
Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is an independent research Institute and one of the largest in the nation that focuses on reproductive biology, and women's and infant's health. Since its inception in 1992, MWRI has been a leader in funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other sources. Qualified candidates will have department funding and a start-up package to build their lab in the Institute.
Qualifications:
PhD or MD required. Ten years of demonstrated research and advanced learning in the field of cancer immunology work.Advanced study in cellular therapy, expertise in monocyte biology, NK cell and T-cell induction, and cellular therapy for cancer.Demonstrated record of significant research funding.Noted publications in extremely high-impact journals. Translational national profile and international reputation in immunology therapy. Originality, independence, leadership, and demonstrated productivity in scholarly activity.Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
