Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Bio-Analytical Development team as a Co-Op at the Genomic Medicine Unit (GMU) located in Waltham, MA.  This role offers exposure to a challenging and collaborative environment by the GMU programs aimed at serving patients globally.  As a Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and creativity while supporting GMU mission and vision. This is a lab-based position requiring you to be onsite Monday through Friday performing established analytical procedures and supporting development of new methods. At Sanofi, we prioritize safety, and you will be expected to follow all the safety guidelines both inside and outside the lab.   Within GMU Bio-Analytical Development group, you will collaborate with our scientists and senior level scientists to gain experience in GMP analytics for release of critical medicines. Your responsibilities will include:

Reading and understanding method related documents such as a standard operating procedure (SOPs), technical manuals and scientific publications to aid in method development activities.Participating in scientific projects with the opportunity to present your work and to gain insights in the internal workings of the analytical team.In addition to the scientific projects, you are required to participate in lab maintenance activities as required.

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a master's degree in biotechnology, pharmaceutical Science, Biology or related biological field, at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2026

Must be enrolled in school the semester following your co-op with Sanofi

Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op

Must have permanent US work authorization  

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication skills - verbal, writing and interpersonal

Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Good understanding of Biochemistry or Biology or Pharmaceutical science.

Hands-on experience working in the lab with working knowledge in the ELISA and mammalian cell culture methods

Strong organization skills, attention to detail and analytical skills is required
