**A Brief Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Family Partner to join our team at the INSPIRE
Early Psychosis program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute an important perspective on
a multidisciplinary team and improve the experiences of families and individuals navigating
early psychosis. Family Partners are individuals who have personally experienced recovery from
mental illness, either as service recipients or as parents or family members of a service
consumer. Family Partners leverage their personal recovery journey to foster shared
understanding and mutual empowerment in their work. Preference will be given to applicants
with direct experience with psychosis and navigating healthcare systems related to psychosis
care.
The Family Partner is an active member of the INSPIRE team and provides support services to
service users experiencing early psychosis by identifying needs and focusing on service users'
family members and support systems. Under supervision, Family Partners collaborate with
individuals and their family members/supports to facilitate non-judgmental, open
conversations and peer counseling, assisting service users in their recovery process and
progress towards their treatment goals.

**What you will do**
+ The Family Partner will assist with group activities, crisis response services, and linkages of families to community resources, conducting sessions in the office, in the community, and via telehealth. They will also participate in weekly clinical team meetings to provide updates and support ongoing care coordination. Additionally, the Family Partner participates in trainings and outreach presentations within the community, offering a family member’s perspective on early psychosis care. Specific duties and responsibilities may vary depending on department or program needs without changing the general nature and scope of the job or level of responsibility. Employees may also perform other duties as assigned.
+ Assist families and supports with articulating personal needs to support their loved
+ ones.
+ support service users and families/supports in identifying skills, strengths, supports and
+ resources to aid them in achieving their goals
+ Assist families with identifying and connection to additional social supports to maintain
+ their wellbeing.
+ Engage in outreach activities to provide information about early psychosis to community
+ members and de-stigmatize psychosis
+ .
+ The Family Partner will be comfortable sharing expertise based on their experiences to facilitate sessions to create an open and trusting relationship with service users and families.
+ Assist families/supports in building communication skills to support development of positive relationships and decrease stressors related to family dynamics
**Education Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma.
**Experience Qualifications**
+ Experience with behavioral health services preferred.
+ Position Qualifications:•Lived experience as a caregiver of a service user with psychosis or serious mental health challenges.•Early Psychosis program-specific experience preferred.•Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity.•Computer literate including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new skills.•Knowledge of a second language preferred.General Qualifications•Enjoys and works effectively in a culture of collaboration•Ability to manage multiple and competing demands on a daily basis.•Effective verbal and written communication skills.•Driver's License preferred•Respect for service users' confidentiality and privacy.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $34.11 - $43.48 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
