Position Overview:
Children and adolescents in our foster care department have experienced multiple types of traumas and loss and require additional supports. The Families Supporting Teens (FaST) Sociotherapist will carry a caseload of 8-15 teens between the ages of 12 to 21 and will be responsible for providing interventions that support the wellbeing and safety of children and adolescents in the FFC department. The FaST Sociotherapist will work in close collaboration with the FFC Behavioral Health Team to ensure that the needs of the youth/families are being met through the use of individualized plans and interventions. Position requires flexible scheduling of hours (some evenings and weekends) to meet the needs of the clients.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, Associates required, plus two years applicable experience, in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice.
