Description An expanding law firm located in Lake Forest is actively seeking a compassionate and determined Family Law Attorney to be a part of their robust team. This position is suitable for those wanting to leave a tangible influence and assist clients in navigating challenging legal situations. Responsibilities: + Standing for clients in courts or before government bodies, bringing forward evidence for defense or prosecution in civil litigation. + Crafting legal records including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other legal correspondence. + Undertaking comprehensive research into case laws and legal issues germane to family law. + Guiding clients regarding their legal rights, duties, and strategies for navigating complicated family matters. + Partaking in negotiation and mediation to settle legal disputes related to family law. + Cultivating relationships with clients to foster trust and enable effective communication. + Remaining updated with alterations in family law and advising clients accordingly. Requirements Key Qualifications: + Possession of a J.D. degree from a recognized law school. + Maintain in good standing with the IL State Bar. + A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in family law. + Proficiency in legal research and writing. + Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. + Capability to manage multiple tasks at once efficiently. + Solid record of maintaining highest confidentiality. + Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive emotional circumstances. + Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
