Description Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a experienced Family Law Paralegal north of Boston to join our legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our attorneys, helping our clients navigate through complex family legal issues. Responsibilities: + Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles related to family law. + Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system. + Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings. + Draft legal documents such as divorce decrees, child custody agreements, prenuptial agreements, and other relevant family law documents. + Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. + Interview clients and witnesses and record their statements to assist attorneys. + Maintain communication with clients and keep them updated about case progress. + Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys. Requirements Qualifications: + A legal certificate, associate's degree in legal studies, or equivalent is required. + Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the family law practice. + Must have strong research and report-generating skills. + Experience in using legal databases and software. + Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
