Job Overview
• Commitment to providing high quality, evidence based inpatient and outpatient care to all ages.
• Commitment to teaching evidence based medicine to residents, medical students and staff
• Oversight of patient care and office procedures, performed by residents and students.
• Supervise resident scholarly activity and research
• Participate in faculty development
• Design and implement curriculum, including delivering didactic lectures
• Provide and receive feedback to/from residents, students, peers, staff and the program leadership
• Serve as advisor for resident mentoring
• Participate in residency conferences
• Share on-call responsibilities for family medicine patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Serve on residency and hospital committees
• Participate in interviewing, selecting, and ranking of prospective faculty and residents
• Contribute as a collaborative member of our high performing team of physician faculty members
Qualifications
Requirements
New Jersey licensure or ability to obtain. DEA with full prescriptive authority Experience in GME leadership preferred. Prior teaching experience. 2+ years of comprehensive family medicine clinical experience preferred. Flexible and able to prioritize and manage time well. Experience in administrative, leadership and scholarly activities.
