Duties:
Physician shall provide all appropriate family care within the scope of the physician's license, including but not limited to:
1.    Maintain the standard of care for the delivery of family care medicine services:
2.    Meet all DNV and other regulatory requirements;
3.    Obtain complete history and record findings in a systematic format;
4.    Perform complete physical assessments;
5.    Order, perform and interpret routine laboratory tests;
6.    Order medications, referrals and or medical devices as needed;
7.    Ensure that appropriate preventative medicine testing is conducted on a routine basis;
8.    Participate with all quality improvement and assurance initiatives;
9.    Conduct appropriate follow up to ensure appropriate levels of patient care;
10.    Serve as site administrator during emergencies;
11.    Provide night and weekend coverage;
12.    Market the practice through direct physician to physician communication, community education, community service or other appropriate channels;
13.    Maintain and implement standards for health promotion and health maintenance;
14.    Follow current state, federal and local laws governing the delivery of care;
15.    Provide open and timely communication with patients, families and their significant others;
16.    Ensure that appearance and personal conduct are professional at all times;
17.    Accept and care for indigent and clinic patients in a manner consistent with compassionate and ethical patient care;
18.    Accept all managed care plans accepted by Employer;
19.    Demonstrate knowledge of current coding guidelines and requirements and maintain an error rate within hospital guidelines (currently 5% or less);
20.    Complete required reporting in a timely manner, like medical records;
21.    If conducting hospital rounds, ensure accurate and timely billing for hospital services;
22.    Submit all bills for outpatient and inpatient work in a timely manner to the Department of Physician Practice Management Support;
23.    Use and endorse the use of all of Hospital's automated systems, as appropriate;
24.    Physician shall participate in community education and scientific programs as may be delegated or assigned to the Physician by leadership and/or the Hospital’s President.
