Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced clinician for a newly created career position as Family Resiliency Specialist. T he position will serve families in Marion and/or Hendricks counties and handle a homebased casework.
Job Summary: The Family Resiliency Specialist will work as an advocate for women, children and families by engaging community volunteers and professionals in a Recovery and strength-based, family centered planning process. The ability to creatively access resources is a must. The position facilitates building family teams for each consumer using a strength-based perspective. The facilitator must be comfortable and effective in working in a variety of settings such as: schools, office settings, community settings, as well as the consumer’s home.
Family Resiliency is a comprehensive service that comprises a variety of specific tasks and activities designed to carry out the wraparound process. Wraparound is a planning process that follows a series of steps and is provided through the Child and Family Team. The Family Resiliency Specialist (FRS) will work as an advocate for children and families by engaging community resources, natural supports, and paid professionals in a strength-based, family centered planning process. The position facilitates building family teams for each consumer using a strength-based perspective. The facilitator must be comfortable and effective in working in a variety of settings such as: schools, physician offices, probation, OFC, as well as the consumer's home.
Essential Functions:
+ Other duties may be assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
+ Assume primary responsibility for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising the EmpowerHer plan of care.
+ Develops a strengths-based goal plan in collaboration with the family and team to ensure goal attainment.
+ Ensure immediate changes are made to the individual plan of care to meet the persons served and family needs.
+ Consult with community agencies and the family of the person served to maintain continuity of the treatment process.
+ Facilitate EmpowerHer Team Meetings with the family, other service providers and other members of the team.
+ Performs a strengths-based family interview to create the family story.
+ Assists family linkage to community and other resources.
+ Facilitate a crisis EmpowerHer wrap team meeting when the family is in crisis.
+ Maintain electronic health records.
+ Submit accurate data for reporting.
+ Adherence to and promotion of the Corporate Compliance Program at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ Available to work some evening and weekend hours to ensure consumer needs are met.
+ May require use of personal vehicle.
+ All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human services field
+ Preferred: two (2) years previous direct care experience in social services, behavioral health, school-based, etc.
