Duties and Responsibilities
Complete assignments to support resident service plans and Centers' programs in accordance with Center, Division and contract requirements. Document all relevant shift activity in 'log book' according to Center policy. Review resident log daily and document resident activities daily. Assist in conducting telephone and walk-in intakes for prospective residents; make referrals to community resources and services. Provide medications in accordance with resident's medical chart; document in resident chart. Monitor residents' behaviors; report incidents/violations orally and in writing to Program Manager. Prepare and distribute meals for residents; maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas on assigned shift to include but not limited to dishwashing. Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms, including but not limited to cleaning, vacuuming, wiping, sanitizing, and preparation of vacant resident rooms. Serve as a mentor to Family Support Workers. Provide initial and ongoing training as required. _________________________________________________________________________________Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
Training or college courses in social work or human services preferred. Required to attain and maintain Food Handler's Basic certification.
Experience
