A Database Engineer 3 is an experienced professional responsible for the systems and infrastructure supporting a product. This individual directs the work of other database engineers, focusing on developing their skills and capabilities. They actively participate in project implementation, transitioning systems into production, and maintaining these systems on a day-to-day basis. Responding to service requests, implementing approved production changes, and resolving incidents are key responsibilities. In the absence of senior or lead engineers, they identify, track, and resolve problems, taking direction from solution managers and more senior engineers.

Working with divine guidance, this individual provides or supports technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
