Farm Key Account Manager 

 

Position Purpose:
The Farm Key Account Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the realization of Bayer’s commercial strategy by driving sales of our products and services and managing related activities focused on key farm accounts. This role is pivotal to delivering on our KPIs, fostering strong partnerships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Define and implement a segmentation-based, differentiated sales strategy at the farm level, fully aligned with country, marketing, and customer strategies.Direct commercial policies and allocate resources to achieve set objectives.Develop and deliver sales plans, leveraging superior sales planning, forecasting, and monitoring tools.

Farmer Account Management:

Identify and manage a focused list of key farm accounts in collaboration with sales representatives.Maintain and update the sales policy relevant to farm accounts.Foster and strengthen company-to-company relationships with key farm accounts by mobilizing internal Bayer resources.

Account Planning:

Develop detailed customer-specific plans for key farm accounts, including business profiles, sales performance history, and strategic cooperation objectives.Establish tailored value propositions by aligning Bayer products, services, and initiatives with account needs.

Collaboration and Alignment:

Work closely with sales leaders to prioritize and select accounts at a regional level based on strategic importance, profitability, and partnership level.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive input into account plans.

Operational Excellence:

Coordinate with sales teams to ensure consistent account visits and optimal resource allocation.Monitor and maintain key farm segmentation and account plans.

 

Key Working Relationships:

Internal: Country Leadership Team, Sell-in and Sell-out Squad Teams, Value Proposition Team, Commercial Operations Team.External: Major key farm customers, market influencers, opinion leaders, and the general public.

 

Who you are:

University degree (preferably in agriculture or related fields).Proven operational experience in customer-facing roles.Solid agricultural knowledge and an understanding of the local market environment.Strong customer focus and strategic mindset.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Proven negotiation and presentation skills.Solution-oriented approach with the ability to navigate complex business environments.
