FAS & WFJ Learning & Development Manager

In close partnership with Retail Management and RLDP (Retail L&D Partner), he/she will further develop Retail Capabilities and Expertise, further infuse Brand DNA and key messages, develop career and development framework, reinforce the Boutique engagement and maximize energy level on boutique floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Future Capabilities Identification and Learning Needs Prioritization

Defines the holistic view of all learning needs in Fashion Division, in alignment with the Strategic Direction and to support the evolution and speed of business. In synergy with ODHR and Retail Management,Curate relevant learning and development content that will support Boutique Talents to identify with the Brand and go beyond work to build personal capabilities to feel confident and contribute the best they canInvolves business leaders and key stakeholders in the Asia Pacific and Global teams in the prioritization process. Ensures Boutique Management as well as key potential have an individual development plan on an annual basis.

Design and deployment of learning solutions

Involves key stakeholders in the design and deployment of learning solutions, determining the “HOW”.Works with stakeholders (Regional and Local) to understand the motivations and profiles of the Retail Teams (Deputy/Head of Boutiques, Specialists and Fashion Advisors) so as to be able to recommend the types of training, priorities and the methods of delivery to support business objectives and client needs, to framed in a Learning and Development path, in partnership with HR and Style expertise teams.Ensure the right combination between classroom, floor practice and coaching. Partners with Regional and Local partners to implement and roll out Learning modules and programs.Equip local team members to apply learning standards according to local needs, for example Train-the-Trainer for new trainers etc Provides feedback/best practice to key stakeholders (including Global teams) on materials/content /learning/methods.

Scope includes : Fashion and WFJ knowledge, Retail Capabilities, Style Expertise, Leadership skills, Brand Engagement

Build and develop the Learning & Development Organization

Play a lead role in the L&D ecosystem of Vietnam Fashion & WFJ in partnership with retail and HR.Design Fashion learning & development organization and lead transformation from Training team to a Learning and Development team.Manage an experienced manager in Fashion Education to rethink formats and contents to be more impactful and inspiring for retail teams to own and apply.Hire, Inspire and Engage a community of Retail and Learning Development Partners to synergize with Boutique management and ensure a continuous, transparent and engaging learning on boutique floor.Lead change and transform current manager capabilities to excellent Boutique coach and Retail Excellence enablers- lead

Evaluation Training/Learning Efforts

Identifies KPIs for training/learning and review on a regular basis through internal and external benchmarking Sets up dashboard for measurements

Champions Change Management in Learning and Development

Works closely with stakeholders to drive the Future of Learning for Retail Teams:Learning on DemandWhole Person DevelopmentCapitalize on Learner Generated Content (Peer Learning)Establishing Learning Curators and CoachesAdvocating Boutique Leaders as Learning CatalystsTakes accountability for the success of the newly introduced Retail Learning and Development Partner roles in Boutiques.

Experience And Qualification

Bachelor/Post graduate qualification.More than 10 years of combined work experience in retail, training and/or learning and development. Business/Retail leadership role is an advantage.Well versed with external trends in training/learning/customer service/digital and experienced/comfortable in employing innovative methods on learning to achieve business objectives.Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams at all levels of the organization:  skilled to give and receive feedback, believes in building success stories together.Strong facilitation and stand-up training skills.Strong interpersonal & influencing leadership skills. Communicates within a broad bandwidth: able to speak strategically cross markets and with global as well as specifically and operationally with local partners.Strong planning, change management and project management skills. Strong understanding of the Brand and Business, with passion for Fashion. Strong interest in people development and understanding of learning principles.Energetic, enthusiastic and resilient to address the required level of transformation.
