As a Fastener Purchasing Ford Champ, you will be responsible of supporting the commodity integration team in fulfilling the daily job functions while developing a project of your own. **What you´ll do:** + Assist in the sourcing and procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies and objectives. + Support the purchasing team in evaluating supplier quotes and negotiating contracts to ensure the best value. + Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data using company systems and software. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, logistics, and production, to ensure smooth procurement operations. + Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs to avoid shortages or overstock situations. + Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and assess their capabilities. + Participate in supplier performance evaluations and help resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost. + Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management review. + Learn and apply best practices in procurement and supply chain management. **What you´ll need:** + Active bachelor’s degree student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software is a plus. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
