The FBL Cash Leader is responsible for driving cash performance across the full portfolio of Imaging, PCS, Ultrasound and Digital Equipment as well as Services for the entire LCT (France, Belux). The Cash Leader drives cash improvement through operational & process improvements, drive Cash Flow (Collections $, Unbilled $, Past Due $, DSO #) and acts as a key coordinator of multiple stakeholders. This high visible role partners with GENPACT, International Cash team, Credit COE, and LCT Commercial & Com Ops teams to drive working capital improvement through simplification, root cause analysis, execution and lean initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesSupport planning, forecasting, estimates, and reporting key cash metrics (Collections, Past Dues, Disputes, billing and unbilled). Establish operating mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely forecastingResponsible for quarterly closing/estimates and develop reliable estimates and communication of current results and estimates to business leaders. Understand, communicate and educate on variance drivers within the business -Lead the operations team (both internal HCS OTR/Business operations and GENPACT collections team) focusing on dispute resolution and commercial engagement activities. This includes creating KPI tools to measure productivity, developing the team's expertise, and cross-training constituents across the cash cycleWork with OTR / SVC team to drive improvement of billing quality and disputes. Link key metrics with operational and commercial processes. Lead cross-functional projects and regular reviews with the cash organization to ensure alignment of financial calendars, business planning processes, forecasting mechanism, and operating reviewsWork with HEF team to ensure stable process with our bank partners, for equipment and service transactionsPromote the culture of Collections, Past Due and DSOPrepare monthly and quarterly presentations for various executive leaders, including International CFOProvide compliant oversight on various cash operational elements including write-offs, bankruptcy, refunds, delegation of authorities, credit limit and other activities as assignedMonitor & Drive GEHC corporate initiatives, simplification projects and integration projects with P&L and finance leaders.Qualifications / required qualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 7+ years work experience (ideally in finance but not limited to)Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.Excellent verbal & written communication skills: fluency in French and English; experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and businesses; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to influence operational leaders as well as finance leaders.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams.Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, OAS, SFDC, Smax, BFE, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideasAdaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
