Region Manager

Summary 

The Region Manager is a highly visible, fast-paced position, responsible for cultivating relationships within a given region, as well as collaborating with program leaders to build and mobilize designated employees. This role will supervise a team of field representatives who are responsible for achieving the same goals in a given territory.   

Our client will also rely on the Region Manager for product training, communication, planning, and general relationship building. In turn, our client will look to the Region Manager to deliver feedback and metrics (both quantitative and qualitative), develop and strengthen partnerships, seek out new opportunities, and grow brand advocacy in assigned market. The Region Manager will also coordinate the efforts of the field team in their area to represent the brand, support the teams assigned in each territory and meet deadlines for reporting to the client and overall compliance.
  
Essential Job Functions: Develop, implement, and maintain initiatives to support the program Recruit, hire and retain personnelNegotiate and manage client commitments and expectationsClosely monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedbackProvide program oversight and direction with a client centric approachDrive performance of team to satisfy and exceed program goals and objectivesConstantly evaluate region’s performance vs. expectations Develop and implement processes and measures to drive performance Ensure sales, market and competitive information is recorded daily Work closely with client to provide weekly market feedback and performance summary Provide analysis for ad-hoc executive management reporting 
 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven track record of successfully developing, implementing, and managing programs Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goals Ability to communicate effectively and provide follow-up  Capability of working in a team-oriented environment that is fair, open and honest Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large groups of people Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and personal credibility  Ability to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutions  Action and detail oriented; able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks Quick and strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environment Proficient is Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
Job Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree 1+ years’ experience in management or leadership role 2+ years’ experience in industry-related field   75% travel; 2-3 weeks per month Central time required
