FCSD PS&L ASR Engineer

Lead advance service release on JMC export new program launch timely for below GPDS deliverables.

Complete ASR (Advanced service release) during PSC-FDJ, 6month  Keep tracking on engineering running change and clarify issues (Post OKTB) Micro-cat Validation and publish issues clarification 

Qualification Required:

Bachelor’s degree at engineering or vehicle engineering  Minimum 5 years’ workplace experience within the Automotive Industry Previous experience in D&R or related field Knowledge of Vehicle engineering BOM and engineering Structure
 

Criteria (including key competencies)"

Strong understanding of GPDS timeline requirements. Strong understanding of Ford PDL (Including color Material PDL) and Ford Engineering system (WERS) Strong understanding of Engineering BOM and Engineering Structure, knowledge of Service BOM is preferred.   Strong understand of engineering running change process Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English Result driven and ability to handle multiple projects within a given timeframe.  Self-motivated, good logic and ability to work in a team environment. Sense of urgency and customer satisfaction mindset. Leadership and Team Management experience.

Lead Advanced service release activities for all China LVEA programs to ensure all service required parts have been identified and released from engineering system. Ensure the accuracy of service BOM with appropriate structure, attributes, buildable combinations, and engineering change information. 

Review and monitor new programs in the cycle plan to generate ASR timing plan for all China LVEA programs including major and moderate programs (ICA/MCA/FHEV…)  Work with D&R to from FEDEBOM phase to ensure appropriate service level have been considered in engineering BOM  Define the colour releasing strategies based on PDO and CADs to deliver an efficient repairing method for exterior and interior color parts. Liaise with Product Development, Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure that new service parts are identified and released correctly in WERS through to end of lifecycle.  Check the WERS release result to confirm the parameters of service parts (SI/SAR…) have been released correctly  Lead regular review meeting with D&R and PMT teams monitoring the releasing progress and status, leverage D&R team to correct the wrong release  Utilize customer feedback to identify failure modes in part releasing and cataloguing to drive proactive improvements.
