As a CPIE NPI Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for ensuring successful planning and execution of new product portfolio from the planning phase through production ramp. This will be achieved through collaboration with the Business Units, Technology Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and PDT Program Managers to develop a plan that delivers high-quality samples on-time to meet customer requirements while balancing Global Operations priorities. You will also be responsible to manage & continuously improve Fab NPI Business process/rules and Opex performance node over node.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with BU, TPG, GQ, OPS, and other teams in Product Portfolio roadmap discussions.Work closely with Global OPS teams to avoid or mitigate operations-related risks and issues.Produce and publish a build plan for Manufacturing NPI teams to execute.Lead all aspects of operational readiness of the value chain and host cross-department alignment forums.As needed, collaborate with PDT on product specific issues and escalations.Work closely with Fab NPI Business process owner, Transfer managers to pilot next technology at MFG sites.Develop and report performance metrics for continuous improvement.Find opportunities to mature NPI business processes or tools, Drive consensus around the need for change and drive project through to completion.Partner with all MFG sites to capture and fan out NPI BKMs.Travel to Micron MFG sites as vital for face-to-face work.Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Engineering8+ years of proven experience in Semiconductor Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields.3+ years of experience in any role associated with delivering new products to market.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
