Federal Business Development Director - Remote

Pearl Interactive Network is seeking to hire a Federal Business Development Director.

The Federal Business Development Director at Pearl Interactive Network is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales and business growth within the federal sector. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and closing profitable contracts within the Federal sector. Job Duties:

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets within the Federal market segment. Conduct market research, identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and actively cultivating new partnerships with government agencies and prime contractors. Lead the Federal sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and ensure alignment with company goals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and internal teams, to support business objectives. Drive the development of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate PIN's value proposition and differentiate us in the marketplace. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contract stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts, ensuring client expectations are exceeded. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business development processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide regular updates and reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Ancillary Duties:

Provide input for press releases, website updates, capability statements, and LinkedIn profiles. Evaluate opportunities from Deltek GovWin and GSA, leading "Go-No-Go" assessments. Develop bid strategies, including win themes and value propositions. Lead negotiations for teaming agreements. Overview proposal strategies, win themes, value propositions and selected past performance. Engage with COIs and provide strategic recommendations. Assist with the CPARs process for performance evaluations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 15+ years of demonstrated track record in Business Development, with a proven track record of success in selling to Federal government clients and agencies. Extensive knowledge of the Federal contracting landscape, including procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience with commercial and government systems that support the Federal capture process, e.g., Deltek GovWin, FedBizOpps (FBO), Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and the System for Award Management (SAM). Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
