Atlas Tech is seeking a Federal Business Development Intelligence Analyst to support the growth and strategic positioning of our organization in the federal marketplace. This critical role combines expertise in federal procurement processes, market intelligence, and business development to identify new opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and guide strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do
Market Intelligence and Research
Conduct detailed research on federal agencies, programs, and upcoming contract opportunities. Monitor federal procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, FPDS) to identify and track potential opportunities. Evaluate RFPs, RFQs, and Sources Sought notices for alignment with company capabilities. Analyze government spending patterns, contracting vehicles, and federal budgets to predict trends and inform strategic planning. Maintain a database of opportunities and related intelligence to drive proactive business development. Track and analyze competitors’ activities, including proposals, awards, and market strategies.Competitive Analysis
Gather intelligence on competitors’ capabilities, contracts, and priorities. Support development of competitive strategies to position Atlas Tech for success. Create comprehensive reports and briefings on competitive landscapes and market dynamics.Strategic Insight and Reporting
Provide actionable insights to business development and capture teams for go/no-go decisions and bid strategies. Prepare briefings on market trends, key opportunities, and competitive positioning using data visualization tools.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with business development, marketing, and communications teams to support strategic initiatives. Assist with proposal management logistics to ensure seamless execution during active proposal cycles. Participate in meetings to align market intelligence findings with business goals.What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 3–5 years of experience in federal business development, intelligence analysis, or market research (experience in defense contracting is highly desirable). Proficiency in government procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin). Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating detailed reports and presentations. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of federal agencies or verticals (e.g., Defense, Homeland Security). Familiarity with the government proposal lifecycle and capture management processes. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.What Sets You Apart
