Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Architect or Architectural Designer with eight or more years of experience, primarily in the Department of Defense (DoD) space. This individual will act as a team lead for architecture projects, with responsibilities including planning, prioritizing, and driving design projects forward. They will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure the work is completed successfully. The design work will focus on various Federal Government and DoD projects, such as Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), barracks, hangars, training facilities, dining halls, and more. These projects are moderate to large in scale and mostly involve new buildings. The successful candidate will join a group of 25+ individuals, divided into smaller teams of around 8 people, all passionate about supporting our military and troops through practical design solutions. Skills and Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in facility / building architecture design
* 2+ years in the Federal / DoD / Government space
* Proficient in designing with Revit
* Already attained or close to attaining licensure/ registration as an Architect
* Ability to travel (10% or less) * AIA Licensed / NCARB Registered Architect
* Experience designing SCIF's (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility)
* Strong familiarity with UFC's (Unified Facility Criteria)
* Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, or other similar software
* Keen eye for aesthetic design and development in federal space
* Experience specifically with the Navy, USACE, and/or Coast Gaurd null
