Federal Health Account Manager

The position is focused on growing our current business base within Civilian health and/or Defense Health agencies with a primary focus on the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Departments of Defense (DHA, DHMS and services), and Veterans Affairs in areas of information technology, training, data management and analytics, and program management.

As a Federal Health Account Executive, you will:

Develop and take ownership of an account strategy for growth and subsequently executing that strategy to win new business in the Federal Health segment - (HHS, DOD, VA etc) Ensure that AMERICAN SYSTEMS is viewed favorably and a partner of choice in the eyes of both the customer and teaming partners Identifying opportunities with high PWin potential, qualifying opportunities, and working with our capture and delivery teams to win Overseeing the development and execution of customer call plans The position is focused on growing our current business base within Civilian health and/or Defense Health agencies with a primary focus on the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Departments of Defense (DHA, DHMS and services), and Veterans Affairs in areas of information technology, training, data management and analytics, and program management.

A week in the life of a Federal Health Account Executive includes:

Proactively identify new funding and business opportunities Perform market research to qualify new opportunities. Develops and maintains a “value added” working relationship with internal stakeholders Meet with clients and build positive relationships and customer affinity Delivering presentations and communicating to internal and external audiences Attending key industry association and customer sponsored events Cultivate strong relationships with proven external partners for the purposes of teaming • Identify early key customer trends to proactively leverage capabilities to help the company grow Managing responses to government market research inquiries (e.g., RFIs, SSNs, etc.) Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
