Mead & Hunt is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our federal programs business development and marketing efforts nationwide. This position’s purpose is to lead business development opportunities to expand our federal programs presence and portfolio. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining client relationships; assisting with proposals; assembling teams for specific pursuits; assisting with groups’ business planning efforts; coordinating and attending relevant national conferences; collaborating with other lines of business within Mead & Hunt on federal pursuits; client interaction. Travel will be required. The successful candidate will have the following: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, planning or related field At least 10 years of relevant experience including 4 years within the A/E/C industry, OR 14 years of relevant marketing experience in the A/E/C consulting industry Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following experience/knowledge: Work on projects for Department of Defense agencies Work on projects for other Federal agencies Strong presence in the federal market with strong client relationships Business development/marketing including interviews and teaming relationships Developing and executing business/strategic plans Broad understanding of all business lines at Mead & Hunt PE license and/or RA, PMP or AICP certifications strongly preferred.
