We are seeking a dynamic Federal Programs Team Lead to join our organization and lead the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and CDBG Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs to enhance the economic well-being of Iowans. Key Responsibilities + Program Development and Execution (40%):Oversee the coordination, execution, and operation of assigned federally funded programs (CDBG, CDBG-DR), ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Measure and evaluate programs’ effectiveness and maintain quality program data. + Stakeholder Coordination (20%):Serve as the primary point of contact for projects, congressional and legislative interests, and other external organizations. + Oversight Functions (15%):Reconcile customer concerns, advise on technical program issues, interpret and explain program rules and regulations, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and elevate issues to upper management when necessary. + Team Leadership (20%):Lead, mentor, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day activities of the CDBG and CDBG-DR team, including workload distribution and project tracking.
