What are we looking for?   As an Federal Solution Engineer, you will deal with the overall demonstration and design of SentinelOne’s solution. Experienced security pre-sales engineer with expertise in the anti-malware space preferred. We need a self-starter who excels in a high-paced, startup environment and thrives on pitching a revolutionary technology to managed service partners, architects, C-level executives, forensic engineers and security practitioners. Must be proficient with going into depth with all the touch-points of our solution and how they will support managed service partners’ business model and technical capabilities. This individual will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives. Further, the ideal candidate should also be able to function as a business, information, and infrastructure architect in a pinch, at a minimum.

What will you do?

Lead in-depth technical demonstrations to showcase SentinelOne's solutions to federal clients, tailoring presentations to meet the unique needs and security requirements of managed service partners, forensic engineers, C-level executives, and other security stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding the business model and technical requirements of federal clients and managed service partners, ensuring our solutions fit seamlessly within their operational environment. Collaborate closely with the sales team, contributing technical expertise to pre-sales discussions and aligning solution capabilities with federal client requirements to drive successful sales outcomes. Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and evaluations, guiding potential clients through the testing phases to validate the functionality and value of SentinelOne's solutions in their environment. Provide first-level technical support throughout the sales cycle, including assisting with the onboarding process for new federal partners and addressing initial technical questions and requirements. Develop a deep understanding of competitive technologies to effectively position SentinelOne’s solutions, handle objections, and articulate the technical differentiators of our offerings. Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats, detection evasion techniques, and current trends in the anti-malware industry to effectively support federal customers with the latest insights and best practices. Travel as required (up to 50%) to meet with clients, conduct technical presentations, and support field activities in various federal locations. What skills and knowledge should you bring? 3 to 5 years experience in cyber security, preferably endpoint cyber defense The drive to achieve mastery of all SentinelOne technologies Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences Use concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with both executives and technical audiences Must have demonstrable experience successfully selling to the mid- to large customers and/or service partners. Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the sales cycle. Initially, the candidate will support the partner through to implementation and managed service partner expansion efforts, however, this candidate will be predominantly a pre-sales engineer. Must have basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques. Abilities to drive the Evaluation/POC process Travel up to 50% possible.
