Job Description:
Federal Tax Services Senior Associate with Crowe, LLP (Sacramento, CA)
Review and prepare federal, multi-state and city tax returns for C corporations (including consolidated), S corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals. Responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services while assisting clients with implementing tax-efficient strategies across all operations. Research and consult on tax matters and reforms. Collaborate with clients, partners, and tax engagement teams to deliver client services on multiple deadlines. Assist on large and multiple projects. Lead, mentor, and coach team members including other staff and interns. Proactively lead and assist the engagement team with billing and scheduling management. Be proficient in and able to teach Crowe and other tax technologies, systems and processes. Seek out opportunities proactively to share capacity and interest. Create professional developmental goals to support own growth and consider what type of stretch assignments will help achieve that growth.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, foreign equivalent or closely related field. Position requires 2 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, Federal Tax Services Associate, or closely related. Position requires experience in: Utilizing tax preparation software including ONESOURCE Income Tax, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Sage FAS 500, CCH Axcess; Utilizing tax research platforms, including RIA Checkpoint; Alteryx; Review and preparation of federal, multi-state and city tax returns for various entities; Review and preparation of federal and state tax workpapers; and Review and preparation of income tax provisions under ASC 740.
Must be eligible to sit for CPA examination.
Offered Salary $101,000 - $128,500 per year

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
