Job Description
This position will be an on-campus position.
Job Duties:
· Assist with the management and care of UTMB’s medical heritage collections.
· Facilitate and participate in conservation workshops (utilizing training materials).
· Assist with the set-up and preparation of ongoing community engagement activities (including the management, and delivery of historical tours of Old Red).
· Act as a liaison between students, museum staff and volunteers.
· Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, general clerical duties may include scanning, emails, and proof-reading materials.
· Oversee the transfer of collections data from Excel to Past Perfect (utilizing training materials).
· Develop promotional materials, including website updates and maintenance.
· Develop themes for future temporary exhibitions.
· Attend the quarterly Museum Advisory Council meetings and present a standing report.
· Support curriculum development for museum related educational initiatives.
· Performs other duties as required

Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
