The Fees Specialist is responsible for monitoring Marketplace fee performance and competitiveness, and driving the operational aspects of fee changes and new fee development. The position will also seek direct feedback from sellers regarding how fees impact their economics and decision making.
You are highly analytical and process driven. You rely on data, customer anecdotes, and attention to detail to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key job responsibilities
-Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and seller feedback to inform fee changes.
-Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret trends data, competitor pricing, and seller behavior.
-Fee change processes: Drive fee change process, collaborating with Product Managers, Tech, Finance, Legal, PR, and Editorial partners.
-Pricing Models: Build and maintain pricing models to evaluate the impact of different fee strategies and their economic impact for sellers and Amazon, which will drive decision making.
-Collaboration: Work closely with Marketplace and Fulfillment Services leadership, Finance, Business Intelligence areas to collect information and drive implementation projects. Work with peers WW to share best practices and adapt them for MX.

The Marketplace Fees team enables Sellers to offer Customers the Earth's largest selection at competitive prices, while maximizing long-term growth for both Amazon and Sellers. We establish fee structures and rates that correspond to the value that Amazon Marketplace delivers to Sellers and Customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of industry work experience
- Experience working with clients
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience with Excel
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- +2 years of experience in Account Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA
