Position Description
Position Overview:
The Fellow will focus on conducting in-depth research on Buddhist art and heritage, while also providing technical and operational support for the development of the digital components of the “Journey to Enlightenment” exhibition. This role is suited for candidates with a strong academic background in Buddhist studies and experience in digital technologies for cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Research: Conduct scholarly research on Buddhist art and cultural heritage sites, contributing to the exhibition’s content and narrative development.
+ Digital Solutions: Collaborate with technical teams to conceptualize and implement digital solutions, including interactive installations, 3D visualizations, and augmented/virtual reality components.
+ Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in tracking milestones, coordinating with collaborators, and ensuring project goals are met.
+ Documentation: Maintain detailed records of research findings, technical specifications, and project activities.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, designers, and technical teams to integrate academic research with innovative digital tools.
Basic Qualifications
+ Master’s or Ph.D. degree in religious studies, art history, digital humanities, or a related field.
+ Experience in digital exhibition development or familiarity with digital tools such as 3D modeling, AR/VR, or interactive design.
+ Strong research and analytical skills, with expertise in Buddhist art and heritage.
+ Fluent in both English and Chinese
