Summary
Skyworks is seeking a FEM Module Design Engineer for its Mobile Solutions (MSB) Division in Andover, MA design center. If you are a motivated candidate with skills and interest in development of Modules, our Skyworks Andover, MA design center is looking for you! Job Description
+ You will support RF front-end Module (FEM) design of multi-GHz complex Tx/Rx architectures that consist of amplifiers, filters, switches
+ Design multi layer modules by integrating ICs and components using RF EM/modeling 3D/2.5D tools such as HFSS, EMX or similar
+ Requires knowledge of RF performance tradeoff with each building block of the module design
+ Presentation of detailed design reviews
+ Utlization of MCM/PCB layout tools such as Allegro PCB designer, to optimize FEM floorplan between IC and CAD designers
+ Assist with RF test evaluation, summarization of data, supervision of lab evaluation and hands-on tuning of prototype hardware for validation
+ Knowledge of RF test parameters and test equipment; oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, hands-on experience in RF testing.
Job Requirements
+ BS with 8 years or MS with 5+ years of RF design experience, with strong background in RF and Microwave design
+ Strong knowledge of RF transmission line designs and integration tradeoffs on co-design of PA, LNA, and Switches
+ Strong experience and fluency with 3-D and 2.5-D EM design/simulation tools. For example, ANSYS HFSS, Keysight FEM, Keysight Momentum, Cadence EMX etc.
+ Expertise with Allegro PCB designer, Keysight ADS, and/or Cadence and associated design/simulation engines and data displays
+ Experience with RFIC floorplan planning & MCM layout tools
+ Experience measuring, tuning, optimizing RF and/or analog/mixed-signal ICs
+ Familiarity with thermal design techniques and considerations
+ Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
