Job Description for FEMA Project Delivery Manager (PDMG)Position Overview: iParametrics is seeking experienced professionals to serve as Project Delivery Managers (PDMGs) for FEMA disaster recovery operations. PDMGs play a critical role in managing disaster recovery projects, ensuring compliance with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) guidelines, and facilitating communication between FEMA, applicants, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary point of contact for disaster recovery projects, working closely with applicants and FEMA staff. + Conduct site inspections to evaluate disaster damage, including public infrastructure and facilities. + Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and project documentation in compliance with FEMA guidelines. + Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion. + Ensure compliance with environmental, historical preservation, and hazard mitigation standards. + Utilize FEMA’s Grants Portal to manage project data, updates, and reporting. + Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and financial teams to address project requirements and obstacles. + Provide regular updates and recommendations to applicants and FEMA leadership. Basic Qualifications: + Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in disaster recovery or emergency management. + Familiarity with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) programs, policies, and regulations. + Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Project, FEMA’s Grants Portal, Xactimate, or similar platforms. + FEMA certifications such as IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, and IS-1014 (preferred). Preferred Qualifications: + Professional experience in civil engineering, environmental science, or construction management. + Certifications in project management (PMP), cost estimating (CE), or GIS analysis. + Experience with federal grant management and financial oversight.
